DEMO Trading Contest

 
• Date of registration: registration opens from 21:00 GMT on 3rd July 2016, and clients can register anytime once registration opens to join the competition.
• Date of competition: from 10th July 2016, 21:00 GMT to 5th August 2016, 20:59 GMT

1. Register for the contest.
2. Before formal contest starts, registered participants can practise trading using their demo accounts. All transactions prior to the start of the formal contest will be cancelled.
3. There are four competition weeks in the trading contest. The corresponding trading sessions per week are as follows:
• Week 1: 10th July 2016, 21:00 GMT – 15th July 2016, 20:59 GMT
• Week 2: 17th July 2016, 21:00 GMT – 22nd July 2016, 20:59 GMT
• Week 3: 24th July 2016, 21:00 GMT –29th July 2016, 20:59 GMT
• Week 4: 31st July 2016, 21:00 GMT –5th August 2016, 20:59 GMT
4. And then right before the first contest kicks off on 10th July 2016, 21:00 GMT, AETOS will allocate each participant's account with an initial trading credit of USD10, 000. The initial capital is virtual and used for the competition only. Any profit made in the competition cannot be withdrawn.
5. By the end of each trading week, Friday 20:59 GMT, all participants are required to close their positions and results are calculated for that week. Any opening positions will be closed based on the closing prices on 20:59 GMT of that day.
6. AETOS will then allocate each participant's account with an initial trading credit of USD10, 000 from the beginning of the following week.
7. By the end of the 4 weeks, participants are required to close their positions before the end of the contest (5th August 2016, 20:59 GMT). If there are open positions at the end of the contest, AETOS will close the positions on behalf of the participants based on the closing prices on 5th August 2016, 20:59 GMT.
8. Leverage: all participants use 1:200.
9. Trading products: Forex, metals, energy, indices and agricultural commodities.
10. Participants must provide true personal details. Winners must present their valid documentation of identity to collect the prizes.
11. Email address and notification of the contest will be sent to the registration email address of the participants.
12. To ensure impartiality, all participants must allow AETOS to display their trading details on AETOS’s website in order for the public to monitor the progress.
13. Winners must be responsible for any taxation derived from the prizes awarded.
14. Participants must conduct their transactions in person.

Participant's score will be accumulated to compete for the awards on a weekly basis first, and top 3 traders will be awarded while top 10 will be announced in each week. The final results of the contest will be ranked according to the total scores in the 4 weeks’ time.

Weekly prizes

The top 3 participants with the largest total profit of each competition week.

• Top prize x1: USD500*
• 1st runner-up x1: USD300*
• 2nd runner-up x1: USD200*

Competition week yield formula: current equity amount of the trading accounts - the initial capital amount of the competition week.

Final prizes:

The top 3 participants with the largest total profit of the 4-week competition.

• Top prize x1: USD5, 000*
• 1st runner-up x1: USD3, 000*
• 2nd runner-up x1: USD2, 000*

Competition yield formula: the total equity amount of the trading accounts in the 4 competition weeks minus the initial capital amount of the 4 competition weeks.

*All prizes are in the form of trading credits, and are not able to convert into cash, but trading profit made with the trading credits (above the prizes awarded for winning participates) can be withdrawn. Minimum withdraw is USD50.

*The winning clients must open a live trading account with AETOS UK for the winning trading credits will be allocated to.
